Passion for Promarkers is Nine Years Old!!

Can you believe it - the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog is nine years old - that is something quite incredible! I've been on this fabulous team for eight of those nine years, not sure where that time has gone!
So, today we are celebrating and our challenge is we want to see all your celebratory cards, for small or big occasions, for anniversaries, birthdays, anything that celebrates something!  And we have an amazing list of prizes from our sponsors - see below!

For my card, I've used Saturday's Child from Mo's Digital Pencil- isn't she a beaut!  I've matched her up with these gorgeous NitWit papers from Lili of the Valley and then added a few die cuts to match the farm theme.

The Cart Wheel is from Joanna Sheen, and the Wheelbarrow is from a Marianne set - COL1427.  Sorry, not sure who made the watering can!

As I mentioned we have an amazing list of sponsors offering some fab prizes, see below.

Happy Wedding Day!!

In celebration of two very important weddings today, I'd thought I'd share a card I made using a Lili of The Valley image.  It's not only THE Royal Wedding but also the wedding of a second cousin of Nick's - have a wonderful day Nicky and Jamie, and hope all the family enjoys every moment!  The sun is shining so it should be fabulous.

Anyway, this card was made for my Craft Fair using an image from a Lili of The Valley Art Pad and then coloured with Promarkers.  And look, it actually isn't cream/yellow!!
I managed to sneak a Marianne die in there - a lacy pierced edged oldie but a favourite and also a sentiment from Marianne Designs, deets below:

Pierced Circle Die Set - CR1331
Wedding Sentiments set -  CS0999

And the papers are actually a set from the Pound Shop!!

Have a wonderful celebratory day!!

Get me to the church on time!!

Hello everyone - sorry I've not been about much, I was busy getting ready for a craft fair at the weekend, and it was followed by looking after Violet for a couple of nights while Holly and her Harry went away to celebrate her 30th!  Violet was such a lovely girl and as good as gold and so entertaining.

Anyway, normality is restored and I thought I'd share a some churches that I made for the craft fair using the Sizzix Tim Holtz die sets.  I love the church steeple too and think it makes a great wedding card or a little gift at the wedding.  I also made some matching cards to with them as it's not easy to write on the finished church!!

The flowers and trailing vines are from Marianne sets as are the grass panels on the side, details below, and the sentiment too!!

Flowers from die set Petra's Special Circle - LR0511
Trailing Vine Dies - CR1396
Grass Patch Die - LR0360
Wedding Sentiments Stamps - CS0999

Oh and I love the little metal bell in the bell tower - took me a while to figure out how to fix it!!
I'm going to do a bit of gardening now while the weather remains so lovely!!xx

Mo's Captain Hugh

I love this image from Mo - in fact all her kiddy dressing up ones - although this one was for a  rather big kid!!  This is  Captain Hugh and you can find him here in Mo's store.  There is also a whole host of piratey accessories here although I was making a quick card so didn't have time to use them.

As it needed to be quick,  I kept the card very simple, using Marianne Nautical Papers (PK9133).  I also punched out the little anchor candi dots from the paper too.

His cutlass, and skull and crossbones, are really ancient Quickcutz dies, I think, but great for this card, and I stamped the sentiment myself using a recent freebie from Making Cards magazine - an Alphabet stamp set!

Well it's just about the weekend so hope yours is a good one.

It's new challenge day today at Passion for Promarkers where our theme of Celebrations has been chosen by our lovely Nic.  And as our sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter, we've been lucky enough to work with some of their lovely images.

For my card, I've used Wedding Cake  which is such a cutie and of course, I've gone nuts with lots of Marianne goodies.  I don't quite know how but all my wedding cards seem to end up being creams or yellows which aren't my usual colours of choice so need to knock that on the head!!

Here's a full list of all the Marianne goodies I've used including their fabulous new Ribbon edge Rectangle which comes with the gorgeous mini charms dies!

Rectangle Ribbon Die - CR1437 NEW
Ribbon Edge Die - CR1370
Wedding Sentiments Stamps - CS0999 NEW  - Love these for that special occasion.
Sweet Romance Papers - PK9153 NEW
Ornate Corner Rectangle Die - LR0405
Tag Die - CR1377

As mentioned we're being sponsored by The Paper Shelter and they're offering the winner 3 digi images of their choice!

And Celebrations mean any kind of celebration - birthdays, babies, graduations, new jobs - so come and join in with us here.  Just remember to use your Promarkers!

Happy 21st

Today's card was for my nephew who was 21 this  week and the last  of all our nieces and nephews to come of age - phew!!  I think there's more celebrating going on tonight for the youngsters in the family - I think I'll be safely tucked up in bed by the time they hit the town!!
Anyway, I've used the fabulous Aiden from Mo's Digital Pencil for my card as I felt the rather chilled image is a bit like Jasper!  He's a bit of a writer too hence the script paper and quill and ink - full list of what is Marianne below.

Marianne Products Used

Frame Die - LR0415
Quill and Ink Bottle Die- COL1375
Paper Scroll Die - LR0419
Numbers Die - CR1429

I cut the little clock, quill and script craft candy type embellies from the papers which I think are from a Prima Pad and the sentiment is Stampin Up I think.  And of course, I've used my Promarkers to colour him.
Sadly it's a rather wet and cold Easter Saturday here in the Lakes, such a shame as we have family visiting but they've still gone off for a bike ride so I might nip into my craft room for a bit!
Happy Easter everyone, whatever the weather and whatever you're up to!

Hugs, Juliexx
